Let Me Write Something About Me First PLease.

Hi! I am a complete newbie in the internet business, and yes up to this time that I am making this blog i barely made a few dollars in my PayPal Account. I have no knowledge on anything about internet marketing, website building, domains and hostings, PPC, CPA, and all these stuff.

But, what I have is the drive to work at home with my pc and the internet. I always believed that there is really A way - The way - on how to make an income online.

I tried a lot of programs besides knowing the danger of scammers; and yes, I was scammed a lot of times. I was aware of the risk right from the start, but there was just no other way for me to find out but to try it; and so it happened. I was hardly hit by a number of hundred dollars in trying those programs and am gonna share all about it in my next postings.

Without a proof of earning what am I doing making this blog(?) I am not in the position to write anything since I have no success testimony to share. Yeah! But you know what. I would like this blog to be an INSPIRATION for all the newbies like me who are doing their best, giving all their time, putting all efforts and resources together hoping against hope to make it, and earn an income online.

I know how it is to stay late at night researching on what to do; how to do it; which is which; and all these questions propagating in my head. Browsing the internet day in and day out. Reading programs, surfing for credits, networking and socializing, blogging, joining forums, doing PTC and PTR, sending emails, doing paid and online surveys, joining affiliate programs, and so forth.

But. Did I make Money? the answer is as I said NO and NO!

You know why am not earning? setting aside my being scammed; the answer is it is because

I did not do any widespread advertising. Laugh at me! Yes! because I have no money to pay for advertising. I did made a Google Ad-words ad for $100. but i just used it up earning nothing. and still I knew why because I never had the slightest idea on how to make it work - the secret of keywords in advertising and all the other tricks there is.

Exhausting! it really is. I felt so alone and helpless; even more so when my friends would raise their eyebrows learning about my internet activities, they would say "Oh come on internet are all FRAUD. there is nothing true to it. it's all a SCAM, you're wasting your time. " and with my haggard face. they would say "look at you, what are you doing wasting yourself?". hhhhmmmnnn I can not blame them, I know they are just concerned about me. Yet-still, deep down in me I am not giving up! I know I can do it! I just need to move forward, use the resources that I have, follow the instructions of the people that made it online. What is important is I know what I want to do, I know that I love what am doing, and am all willing to learn, and I know my GOAL.

And so to all the newbies that are reading this. THE KEYWORD IS. "To never give up" because there is always light at the end of the tunnel. and YOU are not ALONE. there are a lot like us experiencing the same. so, let's lift and hold hand and hand together because we'll gonna make it. I make a few hundred dollars alone each week with this website and increasing, though don't expect to get this much as soon as you start, you need to build up your feedbacks from customers, you will get the odd one or two orders here and there, though could take a week or more but this is hard to tell or get an order the next day, once you get a few star ratings from customers this will show you can do a great job and more people will trust this. How to make Money in the Stock Market

I must admit my title for this article sounds scandalous and scammy, like something a Las Vegas-based email spam company would send out. But it's also completely accurate, because I really can teach you the best way to make money from the stock market all in one short blog post.

Some of our readers are already advanced investors. those few people already know all of this and the article will just be preaching to the choir.

But the reason I'm still writing is that almost nobody I meet in day-to-day life knows anything about investing, the stock market, or big publicly-traded companies in general. Their opinions on the subject range throughout boredom, fear, mistrust, and if they are lucky, curiosity. Or if they are unlucky, bold confidence in their abilities to drastically beat the market with their intuition.

Here are three real quotes I have heard from friends over time when discussing the stock market.

Stocks are just a big roulette wheel. You can't go out swimming with those sharks on Wall Street they'll just eat you up!

I don't know what my retirement money is in. I just checked some boxes on the sheet when I started my job, but I don't really understand it .

I don't really believe in mutual funds at all I'm dedicated enough to do my own research and I can pick winning individual stocks. I've got some Apple, some Google, some Crude Oil/Gold/Pig's Feet/whatever…..

All three of these approaches are understandable, but wrong. The sentiments are valid and I'm glad that people at least have an opinion, but each represents a lack of knowledge about the statistics that run the whole system. Knowing the nature of the market is the key to being able to invest huge sums of your money over time with the absolute confidence that you're not doing anything stupid.

It's worth gaining this confidence, because investing knowledgeably in stocks has always been the single best thing to do with your money in terms of getting lifetime income with absolutely no effort on your part.

To start with the basics What is a stock?

It's a slice of a company that you truly own. When you own a share, you have the right (but not obligation) to attend the shareholder's meeting for that company, vote on important company decisions, and you have a right to a share of any future earnings that company makes. This share of earnings is called a Dividend. In some companies, especially smaller or younger ones, the company elects (with the permission of its shareholders) to reinvest the dividends to help the company grow its earnings even faster. In theory, this means you will get more dividends in the future. Thus, the real value behind any share in a company is the right to get a never-ending stream of dividends from it. For Example, the old, long-profitable company Lockheed Martin currently pays a 3.8 percent annual dividend while growing slowly, while Apple Computer, fancying itself a high growth company, pays zero percent right now and reinvests all profits for faster growth.

Why do stocks go up and down so much?

The true value of a stock is based on the amount of dividends this stock will eventually pay you, the shareholder, over time. That dividend depends entirely on how much money the company will make. But nobody actually knows in advance how much money companies will make they just have a big host of differing opinions. Every day, millions of investors and analysts scurry around and worry about how much money each company will make in the future.

The Libyan People are Revolting! This will make the world have a shortage of oil, so prices will go up! Oil Companies are now worth more! Buy! Buy! .

The US economy is slowing down! This means people will drive LESS to the shopping mall and buy less gas! Oil demand will go down and oil companies will make less! Sell! Sell! .

It's a neverending din like this, for every single stock, on every single stock exchange, throughout the world.

If stocks are so crazy, how can I make money off of them?

Because in the LONG run, it turns out that all this speculation and volatility always cancels out to absolutely zero. The value of stocks will go up as the earnings of the underlying companies goes up. A portion of the ongoing earnings will always flow to the shareholders as dividends. And all this happens because of the natural ingenuity of hardworking humans making things at a profit, and continuing to advance our knowledge and technology and make us all more productive in every field. There may come a time when we can no longer advance, but based on the fact that we're still driving around in gas-burning tanks and Home Depot is still doing all of its computing on green-on-black mainframe computers that kick you back to the beginning of the order if you make a typing mistake, I'd say we have at least a lifetime left to go in this department.

So, stocks go up and pay dividends over time, and they have since the beginning of modern commerce. The total return has averaged a very lumpy but fairly dependable 10 percent per year before inflation, 7 percent after inflation. 5 of the 7 percent comes in the form of rising stock prices, and the other 2 comes from dividend payments directly from the company to you. When you're in your ‘Stashing stage, you just let these dividends automatically reinvest in more stocks which creates a nice compounding effect.

But WHICH stocks do I want to buy to make this free money?

This is the easy part. You buy ALL of them. The world's smartest people have done incredible studies on this for over 40 years. What they find is that the best way to make money in the stock market is to simply buy an index fund . which is a mutual fund that automatically buys appropriate ratios of every major stock in your country's stock market, with no magic and guessing of which stocks are better than others.

The reason the index fund wins statistically is because it can be run by a simple automated set of rules no need to pay $350M salaries to the hotshot traders running the Aggressive growth fund down the street. Because there are millions of people, both smart and dumb, squabbling over the value of each stock, the Index Fund benefits and suffers from all the individual stock performances. But overall, you get the average performance of all this squabbling.

If you descend into the pit and try some squabbling yourself, you may come out ahead or drastically behind the average, but as it turns out, you can't predict in advance which squabblers (including yourself) will win and which will lose. All you can predict is that your average performance if you buy enough of these funds will be equal to the return of the market as a whole, minus the amount of fees your mutual fund charges. So by picking the index fund with the lowest fees. you automatically win. Endless statistical analysis proves this again and again. If you don't believe me, read the book A Random Walk Down Wall Street, or look up the topic of John Bogle / Bogleheads / and the foundation of the Vanguard company itself.

But my uncle bought some stocks once and sold at a big profit! Also, if index funds really are the statistically best bet, why are there still thousands of brand-name mutual funds and hotshot traders out there?

For the same reason that Las Vegas still exists and people still drive SUVs. Humans are irrational creatures and it is scientifically proven that we overestimate our own investment (and gambling) abilities, and no presentation of knowledge to the affected people can completely erase this. I have some perfectly intelligent friends who still believe they are lucky at games of chance, even though any scientist in the world can quickly run an experiment to irrefutably disprove the existence of any form of luck. The only tool you can truly use is statistical probability, and by buying the market average and lowering your investment costs, you are improving your statistical chances.

OK, Fine. What Index fund do I want?

There is one king index fund that makes the decision easy for you. The Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund tracks the entire US stock market index. Its expense ratio is 0.17%. This means that for every $100,000 of shares you hold, they subtract $170 per year from their gains to pay for their offices and trading costs. Some funds charge 10-20 times higher fees. So if you are looking over employer-sponsored plans, try to find a total stock index fund (or at least its close cousin the S P 500 index fund), and compare the expense ratio to 0.17%.

What is the S P 500? This is a collection of shares in the 500 largest companies in the US, and therefore in most of the world. They are all multinational companies, so they benefit from growth around the world. If you really want to invest without having to worry, the S P represents good odds. If you buy the stock market index of a smaller country, like Canada, you will still have good odds, but at higher volatility. (During the dot-com boom of the nineties, a company called Nortel once represented 70% of Canada's entire stock market value. This company is now bankrupt, so you can imagine how that felt to investors solely in the Canadian index. Now Canada is the new Saudi Arabia with oil exports, so its index is again riding high on oil company stocks. I wouldn't bet my whole Mustache on that one commodity either).

What about International stocks? Some people like to get fancy and buy international index funds, which can do well when the US is hurting (as it has been recently). This is fine, as long as you understand that it's just another form of trying to outsmart the basic stock index. When you do this, you are stating that you believe the stock markets of the other countries are more undervalued relative to future growth, than the US market is. The US is traditionally the most business-friendly country in the world, so its stock index has tended to have the highest performance, after taking into account its lower risk and volatility compared to, say, throwing all your chips onto Russia or China. It may or may not pay off in the future I just want to point out that most people just make this decision on a whim, something like China is so hot right now, they're taking over the world! . Whereas to actually justify international investing rationally you'd have to be a very sophisticated investor and truly understand WHY you are doing it.

4. Home Inspection. An important part of the home buying process is having a professional home inspector go through the house to determine the condition of the building and point out any potential problems. A home inspector needs to meet the state regulations for the profession, which varies from state to state, although anyone who has worked in the construction or housing industry will have a leg up. Median salary: $52,000.

5. Massage Therapist. While licensing requirements for massage therapy can vary from state to state, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork can help any budding masseuse fulfill their local requirements. Massage therapists can either work out of their own home or make house calls with a portable massage table. Median salary: $34,900.

6. Tax Preparation. No one likes doing taxes, and they need to be paid whether the economy is booming or tanking. This is why at-home tax preparation can be a great business for anyone with a tax background, or anyone willing to take training courses. Since there are annual changes to the tax code, you will need to refresh your training each year, and you will also need to register with the IRS as a tax preparer. This is more of a seasonal business than a year-round endeavor, but it can be a great way to earn some extra income each winter/spring. Median salary: $30,900.

7. Doula. A doula is a labor coach that can help a birthing mother in any labor environment, from a hospital to a midwife clinic to home. Doulas are non-medical professionals who offer information, emotional support, and physical assistance in the process of giving birth. While licensing for doulas is not required by most states, getting certified by DONA International. the only certifying body for this profession, is a good idea. Doulas do have to deal with unpredictable schedules, but they easily can do this work from home. Doulas generally charge between $500 and $1000 per birth.

8. Hairstylist. If you have experience cutting hair and giving manicures, opening up shop from your home is an excellent way to start your own salon. Make sure that you follow all of your state’s requirements for doing salon care in a home, as they can be stringent. Median salary: $22,500.

9. Interior Designer. While you do not need a degree or certification in order to set out an interior designer shingle, it is really necessary in order to make sure you can meet the needs of many clients. An education in the history and theory of design will allow you to understand trends that you may not like, but your clients do. Median salary: $46,280.

Meeting the Remote Needs of Companies

Many small businesses have gaps in what their employees can take care of. Hiring a full time employee to fill in those gaps isn’t necessarily feasible, which is where your work-at-home business comes into play. Here are some work-at-home ideas that every business needs:

10. Copywriting. These writers put together promotional materials for businesses, including ads, websites, newsletters, commercials, direct mailings, and many others. Copywriters generally have a degree in advertising, marketing, English, or communication, but any excellent writer can do a great job copywriting. Median salary: $55,000.

13. Marketing Consultant. Whether you are helping a business with traditional marketing materials or instructing them on the fine art of blogging (ahem) and social media, this is a business that has almost unlimited potential for freelancers. Median salary: $108,000 (!).

14. Editing. Like copywriting, this is a freelancing gig where it’s helpful to have a background in English or communications—but any eagle-eyed writer could do great job. Median salary: $51,470.

15. Web Design. Helping clients design the best website for their needs is a great way to make a living from home. About. com lists the median salary as of 2008 at $65,270.

16. Translation. If you know a second (or third) language, you can make a living at home translating documents. It’s a global marketplace, and even the best translation software can’t understand linguistic nuance. Median salary: $43,300.

17. Video Production. Everyone wants a piece of YouTube, so talented freelancers can make a great living producing videos for companies and organizations. Rates vary by area, equipment, and background.

18. Internet Security Consulting. If you’re tech savvy and understand the ins and outs of internet security, consider becoming a consultant for small businesses. Unlike the big boys, these companies can’t afford the huge security budgets, but they still want to be able to protect their internet customers.

19. Green Consulting. Many smaller companies would like to find ways to make their processes greener without spending more green. You can help them to figure out ways to improve their carbon footprint without sacrificing the bottom line.

How can I make money?

I've been working on a fledgling adventurer, and I can't seem to make any sort of decent cash. There are several ways I can earn money, such as the job board, but even that is hit or miss.

I've taken several hunting missions that are rated easy (and only have one dollar sign). Sometimes, those work out, and I get a little money. Other times, though, I run into something nasty (even on these "easy" hunts), and it manages to kill me handily. You can't try again, so you fail those quests.

I haven't tried escort missions yet, since I can barely survive the things in the starting area, let alone anything else.

I've taken to trying to pull stuff out of a dungeon, try to afford to get it identified, and sell that. That usually turns out to be a money-losing operation, though, as it's not nearly worth much more than the original, unidentified price.

Startup valuation: Figuring out how much a startup is worth is as much an art as it is a science. Choosing the right founders: Team plays a critical role in a startup's success. Investors want to invest in successful founders. Portfolio management: What's the right number of startups to hold in a portfolio? (Hint: Kauffman Foundation research says at least 6) Taxes: You gotta pay Uncle Sam at some point, right? and lots more…

With all this in mind, a startup investor has to juggle lots of things at once but ultimately, it's all about the money.

How do I make money investing in startups?

As OurCrowd and other equity crowdfunding startups democratize early stage investing, we get asked a lot about how investors make money in startups.

Basically, there are 3 ways a startup investor can make money:

Startup sells to another company: Large companies typically turn to startups to provide a shot of ingenuity with a side of technology for their existing businesses. So, at least in Israel, we see around 100 companies get bought every year by larger multinationals. For an investor in a startup, this is frequently the quickest way to make money on your original investment. When a startup gets bought out, an investor may receive cash or new stock (or a combination of the 2) from the acquiring company. So, how much an investor would see back on a merger or acquisition of this kind depends on his prorata share of the startup and the valuation the company was being acquired at. Startup goes public: This happens less frequently than startup M A because the qualifications to publicly float stock are typically higher and only more mature startups fulfill them. Of course in a world of global stock markets, investors in Israeli startups may see their investments IPO on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), the London Stock Exchange (AIM), or in the U. S. on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or NASDAQ. Startup gets big, pays dividends: Some companies decide not to get bought or IPO. Their founders have a vision of running large, standalone businesses. If they get there, they typically have lots of cash on their books and are generating more $$ every day. To repay investors, they can pay out part of their cash flow in the form of ongoing dividends or if the cash buildup on their balance sheet is large enough, they may decide to dividend out a chunk of that cash in a 1-time, special dividend. Conduit, a well-known Israeli internet technology company, decided to take this approach and paid back something like $300M to its investors. Sell a share to someone else: Investors in startups typically have the ability to sell their shares to another buyer for a profit…if they can find one. Unlike many stocks that trade on stock markets, most markets for selling shares in startups are really illiquid. Most likely, if you were to check EquityZen, Sharespost. or SecondMarket. the 2 leading markets for shares in private companies, you won't find an active market in shares of a specific startup (unless it's super hot and big like Facebook was before it IPO'd). When investors ask me, I tell them they have to feel comfortable owning shares in their startup for a long time.

There are some other less common ways early stage investors get paid back. Sometimes investor will use convertible loans (like with OurCrowd's portfolio company Crosswise ) to fund deals. These are loans that can convert into equity at a later date.

Regardless, investors should pay close attention to how a startup is valued, who owns the equity and importantly, who owns rights to determine whether a startup can be sold. Inexperienced angel investors aren't always aware of these types of terms that can have a big impact on future investment returns. How Can I Make Money Online and How To Afford Travel

A couple of weeks ago we published the post "How Can I Afford to Travel? ", in which we revealed how we, and 18 other top travel bloggers, can afford to travel.

I taught English for about a year online. I am actually still pretty surprised by how well this one worked out (considering I have no English qualifications other than GCSE English lit and lang and the fact that I am English).
