Photography Money Making Ideas Stock Libraries

Ok, I am new so where can I sell stock photographs? or Sell photographs for money? how do I compete with all the professionals and what do I do?

Many agencies require high quality, high standards of photographs taken by very expensive cameras and which are used by large advertising agencies. this maybe out of some peoples leagues for now, but there is hope…

Well, think about it. The large stock agencies sell high quality photographs by professional photographers like those above to large, wealthy companies! So who sells photos to the smaller businesses that can't afford the large prices? You do! If you have any decent photographs on your computer or are willing to go out and take a few, I will show you where to send them.

You will need good photographs of everyday subjects that I will cover in a minute, but if you have a digital camera of 3 mega pixels or more…read on!

Now this is a system that I for one hadn't looked at before, I have always put my stock photographs on with the large agencies and they make good money but not that often and the competition is fierce. Corbis have over 3,500,000 images on their files. How do you compete?

I came across a rapidly growing company that charges very low prices for its photographs (approximately $139 will get you 750 images in a month if you are buying ). Now this means there are people constantly on this site downloading photographs and they need more…a lot more images to keep up with the growth.

As a submitting photographer, you only get 38 cents per photograph downloaded, but each buyer will download a minimum of 750 images each month therefore thousands of images are downloaded daily. If they are just sitting unseen on your PC, what do you have to lose?

When I started, I tested this site and referred a photographer to them and with just his 35 images of motocross bikes online; he had sold 9 images in the first 6 days. I tried it myself and uploaded a sunset picture and in 3 days I had sold 3 copies. The way I see it, and according to the company's forums, if you have 1000-2000 images on their database, you should easily earn around $600 per month. All you need is 100 downloads a day and you have it for life! Or all the while the company trades.

One Year On Update I now have just over 1,200 images with them and have sold over 23,000 photos. I am earning around the above figure every month and it just seems to be getting better.

Three Years On Update I still have about the same amount of images online (but I have over 3,000 images waiting to be uploaded…busy, busy) and I have now sold around 50,000 images at Shutterstock alone, countless video clips and the photographers that I have introduced to Shutterstock have sold a combined total of…wait for it…529,191 images!

The great thing is that they have now started a new system and a bunch of new sites whereby you will earn up to $2.85 per on demand image downloaded so it just gets better. Your images get uploaded here automatically so there is less work for you!

Plus…If you sell an image with an extended license , you will earn $28!

I expect to hear from professionals saying this is bad for stock photography, but I disagree. This is just another sector of the market that caters for the beginner and amateur photographer, as well as the smaller business wanting to buy stock.

10 year update: Yep, still making money each month and I have rarely uploaded anything for 7 years or so. I am now (as of 2016) picking it back up again and uploading a ton of new stock images and video clips.

For the record, my earnings from stock have now hit well over 6 figures so do yourself a favour and in the first instance, sign up with the agencies below to get started. This is an evergreen industry as things always change:

So, if you have any images of 4MB or more that would be suitable, and they are just sitting on your PC, you are wasting money. I uploaded 50 yesterday and am waiting for their approval. They are the same as the ones I have on with a larger agency and I will earn a lot less, but it is still more than I had before yes?

How Much Money Do Porn Sites Make?

I will not calculate expenses and shit here, these porn sites do have huge servers, and lot of employers, so they do have tons of expenses too.

Sites under 100 000 visitors per month are really profitable too, they have only 10-20$ per month expenses, and they can make some great money with 100k visitors.

I will write down some average stats now, so I think porn sites can make this amount of money every day based on my Porn offers knowledge, my experience with porn sites and my marketing experience.

I will calculate earnings with 1 000 000 visitors so we can get roughly number.

Let's say your porn site get 1 000 000 visitors per month, and you monetize your visitors with PPS, PPL and Popups.

So I can tell you this: On average 1 in 30 visitors will click on your Ad and 70 in 100 visitors will get your Popup (30 in 100 will get blocked by Adblocker).

So with 1 000 000 visitors, you will get 33 333 clicks on your ads, and some of them will make you money with PPL, some of them will make you money with PPS, and most of them will see your PopUp.

1 in 50 people who clicked will register as PPL so you will get 660 PPLs.

1 in 200 people will earn you PPS, that's 166 people.

700 000 people will get your PopUp.

So final calculations are:

660 PPLs = $2000 (average, most of these huge sites will get fixed PPLs on 3 or so)

1660 PPSs = $12 000 (if your average PPS is 80$)

700 000 PopUps = $10 000 (average popup price and 2 PopUps per visitor)

Average profit from 1 000 000 visitors on porn site is 24 000$.

But this is only for 1 million visitors website, let's point on some huge porn site visitors number.

For example PornHub with 145 million visitors per month will make $3 480 000 in one month.

If we divide this number with 30 days we get $116 000 per day.

Let's say they have huge expenses, like 20% from their income, that's still $92 000 per day and it's fucking nice money.

Most of these porn sites make tons of money from their subscriptions too, so that's few $k more every day.

Niche blog is a blog that writes about specific topic, which means there is no mixture topics in a blog. If you mix all different topics in a blog, they don't know what type of blog that they're reading, definitely they will only read those articles that they're interested on and leave the other articles, I'm sure they won't be coming back to read your blog again.

My sister-in-law has made a ton of money using Ibotta, and if you coupon, it's a great way to make some products free! For instance, once I get a coupon on the mail from Smith's (a Kroger affiliate) worth $25 because of all the groceries I had purchased during one quarter. Every so often, I get coupons for free products I buy often at Smith's, which is really nice. First and foremost you have to have a website that can be easily navigated (you will find a great tool for this at the bottom of this post); if people can't navigate your blog then they will click the back button and scroll down to the next blog until they find what they are looking for! You also want to make sure that you have no special characters in your URL as weird as it may sound. The reason being is because Google has crawlers that go out and look at everything from your URL to the content in your posts; they don't always read special characters so if your blog is competing with several others it will have less chance of ranking. It is best to stay away from underscores, percentage signs, hashtag symbols and the like (dashes only). The only other thing to be aware of with your URL is to try to keep it under 100 characters long as this will help your SEO rank (search engine optimization).

Next it is necessary to make sure you keyword your blog. Use a tool such as Jaaxy or Google Keyword Planner to see what the best keyword phrases are for your particular topic. The formula to success is high search volume/low competition; you want to find a keyword phrase that gets searched often but does not have tons of sites competing to rank on Google for the particular keyword phrase. There are multiple areas that keywords will be inserted into your blog (mostly invisible to the person reading the blog). When you are creating your post your website builder will have a section to fill out that asks for keywords; put 65 to 75 characters-worth of keyword/keyword phrases. You want to put all the keywords in that you want to rank for in this spot. Any pictures/media you insert into your posts should be first saved to your computer as a keyword phrase. Lastly, you need to make a point to use your main keyword phrase in the title to your blog post as well as the SEO title.

Even since fast Internet connections around the world became the standard, video has been a dominating force online. The explosion of smartphones and mobile Internet only reinforced this trend, as people are now able to watch videos on the go and 24 hours per day.

Guess what, if you want to make money online, you certainly need to consider a strategy that involves video. Below you’ll find some tips to help you in this path.

1. Know The Business Models

There are basically two available business models to make money with online video: release the videos for free and earn with advertising, or charge a fee to let users access your videos.

The first model is suitable for videos that will attract a large number of views on platforms like YouTube or Facebook. Funny videos and videos about celebrities, technology, politics or other popular topics tend to do well under this model. Keep in mind that you will need to publish many videos for this model to become profitable. It’s not uncommon to see publishers releasing several videos on the same day!

The second model is suitable for premium and educational content. For instance, educational videos that teach people how to program or build websites, how to earn money through investing, or how to gain skills necessary to make money on some professional field. Many years ago, the above title, How to Make Money With No Money was my google search. In those days, I was really struggling to make ends meet with just my job. So I wanted to find a way to make some extra money online. But the problem was everyone wanted me to invest money.

And I get that!

It only makes sense that if you want to start a home based business you need to be willing to invest money. But what if you are in a dire position. I mean, I was totally broke!
