This may not make sense, but think about it. You can help someone you know watch an item of importance to them. You can watch their kids, or maybe even their pets for a little cash. If you happen to have someone around you that is going out of town, you can even ask them to house sit for a little extra cash to help cover that bill you are a little short on. Each of these items is near and dear to someone, so most will pay quite sensibly to have someone they trust keep it safe and secure.
