You can list your stuff locally fairly easily with the help of a few apps like Letgo. Offerup. or Carousell. The process is pretty simple. Simply snap a couple of pictures with your phone, create a listing, name your price and viola! Listed. I recently used Letgo to sell a camera I had that I hardly used. Within 2 hours I had a buyer and was able to procure a sale. Honestly I was amazed.
Another thing to consider with the use of these apps is that your basically arranging a meeting between you and another individual, so if you do sell something with these apps, I advise you arrange to meet at a Starbucks or safe public setting.
You should also be aware of hagglers. People may want to buy what you have but offer a lower price than the one listed. A friend advised me that you should always list your stuff with a higher price than what you actually want to avoid selling your stuff for less than what you want. That way when a haggler contacts you with an offer, you’re more likely to profit from the sale.
