First off, bookmark this page so you can come back after joining each site listed below. Each site's name is a direct link so you do not have to type it in. If you plan to start taking surveys on-line I recommend creating a new email account solely for this purpose. This way you can choose to ignore the mail if you no longer choose to participate rather than filling your regular email account with mail you do not want. The amount of email you receive can be substantial. My account receives fifty or more a day. It is to your benefit to sign up with as many sites as possible as you will most likely not qualify for most offers that you receive. The idea is to get as many as possible and you will probably get a few that you can take. Each survey is designed to get the opinions of a specific demographic, and if you do not fill this demographic you will not be able to take the survey.
When you first sign up for a website you will be asked for your somewhat personal information. I say somewhat because you do not have to be honest with most of it but keep in mind that most of the survey opportunities that you receive are based on this info. Also, should you be one of the lucky few that does win a sweepstakes drawing, any false info would automatically disqualify you from claiming the reward. You will need to supply a valid mailing address so that your rewards can be sent to you. Some sites do use electronic payments, but not all of them. For as long as I have been doing this I have not seen an increase in my junk email, other than what I signed up for. Each site will have a demographic section for you to fill out. This includes: age, race, gender, occupation, average annual salary, country and state of residence, number of people you live with, whether you own or rent, how many cars you own, and so forth. This is so the websites can pair you with specific surveys. Once you start a survey you may be asked for some of the info again. This is due to the fact that the website you are using may not be the one hosting the actual survey. The most important thing to remember is that no valid site will ask for you to give info like bank account number, credit cards, social security. If they do ask you are most likely on a fake site preying on people. There are a few sites that do require you to spend money that are legitimate but the compensation is minimal and the ability to tell good from bad can be difficult.
The sites I would recommend signing up for before any others would be both Sendearnings. com and Inboxdollars. com. They will pay you to sign up for other survey sites. You get 5 dollars just for signing up. These two sites are exactly the same so you get twice as much for doing the same thing. These two sites offer a variety of ways to earn some easy cash. The first is what they are really established to do, which is to get you to read ad email. They send you email from legit companies and you get paid to read them. You really do not need to read them though. For most of them you get the credit just by opening them. The others require you to click at the bottom of the email confirming that you read it. The print is large so you won't miss it. Each email yields $.02. Does not seem like a lot but it adds up rather quickly and takes no time to do. The next way to earn money is to complete surveys. The first few survey are demographic and you get compensated for them. After that you can take surveys that range from $.25 to $2.00. The third way to earn money is by signing up for offers. This is were you can make some real money. The sites offer you money for signing up for things. Some require you to buy something and others are free. Most of the companies are very familiar, some examples would be Nationwide Ins, Snapfish and so forth. The compensation varies depending on the cost to you. Free offers are small, ranging from $.25 to $2.00 and the offers where you have to buy something can go as high as $20.00. The free offers are the reason I recommend signing up for these websites first. A great deal of the offers are for survey websites, so you will be rewarded for signing up for sites that you otherwise would have anyway. A lesson I learned the hard way. Always read the fine print on all offers as some require you to cancel a service within a certain period or be charged. I avoid these because I most likely will not remember to cancel. Another way to earn money is what they call cash shopping. What this entails is using their links to get to sites that you normally buy from, like Ebay, Target, Newegg and more. When you make a purchase at the site, Sendearnings or InboxDollars, depending on which site you use, will give you a percentage of your purchase. You are buying from the official site and not from the referring site you clicked the link from. If you buy a lot on-line you stand to make a good deal of money. The percentages vary depending on the store. Another means to make money on the site is cash games. This is a link to Worldwinner. com which is essentially a gambling site. The games are not your standard casino games though. The games are more leisure games like bejeweled, solitaire, hearts. You can play the games for free with no obligation but if you want to make money you must make a deposit and become a preferred member. I signed up through a promotion they were doing and was able to cash out a small amount of money. The games are fun but how the competitions are set up seem sketchy and the money you risk compared to what you win is not worth it. Unless you are very good at these types of games and have some money to gamble with I would not recommend this feature. The last way to to make money on these two sites is to refer your friends and family. You get a match of 10% of what your referrals make through their "qualified earnings". Which is surveys, cash shopping and offers. So if they do a survey for $2.00 you get $.20. Still a small amount but it all adds up. The only catch with these two sites is that you cannot cash out until you reach $30. Upon reaching this level though you automatically become a gold member. With this level your are able to cash out more often and share in the non referred members pool. The pool is essentially a collection of all the non referred members who are treated as one referred member and all the gold members split the 10% that would have otherwise gone to the person whom referred them.
The Next Section is Devoted to Survey Only Sites
Globaltestmarket. com is a good site for survey taking. They email you surveys based on your profile and you get roughly 3 to 4 a day. They use a point system to compensate you for taking their surveys and each point equates to $.05 U. S. The values vary and sometimes only sweepstakes entries are given. The values range from 5 pts to 60 pts. Some are, all or nothing and some offer points depending on how far along the survey you get. Their sweepstakes drawing are done daily, weekly, and monthly, which is more frequent than most other sites. The only thing bad about the site is that you need 1000 points to cash out, equates to $50.
Epoll. com is a site dedicated to surveys about TV shows and your opinions of them. The surveys are kind of long and the do not tell you how many points you get for completing the survey. They also do not send many surveys. You can use the points to get gift cards, donations, or certificates for free items. Gift cards vary from stores like amazon or restaurant to paypal deposits. They also have monthly sweepstakes with four winners at $250 each.
Mysurvey. com is a site dedicated to product evaluations. They do not send you the product only ask if you use them or if you would use a new product they are coming out with. The surveys start out at 10 pts and if you qualify you can earn up to 300 pts. Cash out starts at 1000 pts and can be redeemed for donations, cash, and gift cards. Also have sweepstakes.
ValuedOpinions. com is a survey site that is simple and only offers cash rewards. Qualifying chances are low but the rewards are higher, ranging from $1.00 to $20. They say they have $50 surveys for specialists but have not seen one. The surveys vary on topic. There is a sweepstakes for new members and the winner gets an Ipod touch. Only 1 winner per drawing. Cash out is at $20 and it takes quite some time for the surveys to be processed.
Myview. com is similar to mysurvey. com except rewards are cash and you must reach $25 to cash out. Surveys vary from $1 to $10 with some only for sweepstakes, though they just announced they will no longer offer surveys that only reward with sweepstakes starting 2016. Sweepstakes are monthly from 1 @ $500 and 10 @ $50.
Pineconeresearch. com does surveys on products and send some to you to evaluate. Payment is cash to paypal account at $3 a survey and another $3 for evaluating a product. Surveys are not very frequent but payment is made within a few days of completing survey with no minimums. Products are sent to you free of charge and you get to keep them when the evaluation is done.
Opinionoutpost. com is site that offers points for surveys. They do not email you though, you must log on to see what is available. Usually anout 15 surveys available. 50 points equals $5 check or $5 amazon gift certificate. Checks takes 4-6 weeks but amazon certificates are instant. They send you an email with a claim code you use at checkout that give a five dollar credit. The surveys vary from 15 to 60 pts.
Surveyhead. com is similar to Valuedopinions. com except Surveyhead does not send emails very often. You must log on to check to see what is available. Usually ten or so. The nice thing is that next to the reward which ranges from $1 to $20, is the % chance of you qualifying based on your profile, which you get credit for filling out. The credit does take some time to receive and the minimum is $25 cashed through paypal, amazon, or donations.
Surveyspot. com this site sends the most surveys but a large amount are for sweepstakes. They now use a point system where 1 pt equates to $.01. Ranges between 100 to 500. There are some occasions where cash is offers if you complete the initial point survey but they are hard to get because they are real specific. They also offer product testing for compensation. Payment is made through paypal with minimum of $10. The points are usually added to your account within a few days of completing survey. They also have an instant win game where you choose between a slot machine or lotto type scratcher as well as a sweepstakes. Below is their prize disclaimer.

The Next Section is Sites That Offer More Than Just Surveys
Permissionresearch. com offers surveys for points which can be redeemed for gift cards and prizes. They also offer tokens for surveys that you do not qualify which grant you a spin of a wheel which has points to t. v.s to vacations. They also have free programs. games and screen savers to download if you are a member. The main purpose of this site is to gather info from your Internet usage. While the surveys relate to products you use, the site wants to install a program that sends the company the sites you visit. The info is not personal nor distributed. I installed the program to get the benefit then deleted it a few days later. You will receive an email once in awhile saying that you do not have the program installed but there is no real consequence for not having it and you can continue to do the surveys.
Nielsen Digital Voice is the same a permission research except you must keep the program installed to remain active. The surveys are less frequent and usually are for sweepstakes entries which is all you get for installing the program. The sweepstakes is for 1 of 10 winners of $1000 monthly. Occasionally you will get a survey that is worth $5 and they send you a check right away. Takes a week or so to get it. The site is reputable and the program does not effect computer performance.
ClixSense. com is a site that offers money for viewing websites. All you have to do is log in and click "browse adds" and a list is provided to choose from. You click on one and it opens a new tab with a timer which counts down from 30. Once it gets to zero you are credited. You do not have to read anything or even stay on the tab. Just leave it open and check back 30 sec later. At the top of the screen it will say "your account has been credited click here to close this window" and that's it. Then you move on to the next one. When you start you get $.01 per click and average 5 -10 clicks available. This changes throughout the day so check somewhat frequently, at least daily. You can choose to become a premier member for $10 at which time you will receive more clicks available. There is also items sold on the site which you receive cash back for. Have not bought anything so can't say what the quality is. You can also choose to use the money accrued through clicks to purchase a premier membership. Takes longer but you do not have to put up any money. You can also advertise through the site at a cost of $.01 per click. You can use the money you get from clicking to pay for it. There is a game called Clixgrid in which you pick squares to see if you win extra money. Each square has a different value. Some are worth nothing and others range up to $5. Regular members get 20 chances, premier get 50. Both are daily. The nothing squares show and ad, winning squares show amount won. You also get money for referring your friends and family. You get $.01 for each referral and $2 if they become a premier member. This part is kind of a pyramid scheme except you do not have to put up any money. Just takes longer to get to a level where you will see some good returns.

Some Helpful Tips
Read what the survey is about for before taking it. Most site will say what the survey is for before you take it. An example would be "take this new electronics survey" or new survey for men". If you are a women you should not waste your time trying to take a survey for men. You could lie and answer the questions but some sites compare you answers with you profile.
Always state that you are the primary decision maker, whether it be for buying groceries or financial decisions. The sites are looking for people whom have influence over what products get used. If you say your spouse makes all the decisions you will most likely be disqualified for the survey.
Read the survey while taking it. many people think all they have to do is click a bunch of bubbles and that's it. Actually many surveys have trick questions to verify that you are actually reading them. An example would be " if you are reading this click the left button".
