The following sites are tried and tested ways for earning extra money online. I have used most if not all of these myself and been paid. You're not going to break the bank, but I can tell you these little gems certainly come in handy if you have access to them for some extra bucks here and there (and as a bonus they're fun to use, too):
Opinion Outpost This one isn't new, but it's new to this page because I recently discovered that Opinion Outpost is paying much faster for surveys than they were before. As soon as you hit the cash out threshold, you'll get your money to Paypal within minutes of asking for it. It's been around for a while and is very popular among survey sites.
Swagbucks Get paid for searching the web. You randomly win Swagbucks a few times a day. You can also get the bucks by filling out offers, surveys, videos, and more. You only need 450 Swagbucks to cash out for a $5 Amazon card. Easy to get there. If you want cold hard cash, for 2500 Swagbucks, you can get a $25 PayPal gift card.
QuickThoughts This is for mobile users but it's an amazing way to make a little extra in Amazon gift cards. Reviews are great, people are able to hit the $10 minimum cash out threshold very quickly and you receive your virtual gift card instantly! They seem to have plenty of surveys available and users report that they get at least a little compensation even when they don't qualify.
Pinecone Research If you are going to register yourself with any survey panel, this is one of the best sites to use. They pay out more than other panels with guaranteed potential for $3 per survey you take, and they also are known for sending out really good product tests. They are selective about who they accept, but if you meet the demographic they are currently looking for (which changes) you might make it in.
Qmee This is a browser extension that you can install for just about any browser (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari). Once installed, just search the web and use the internet as you normally would. Qmee will occasionally show you an unobtrusive ad in your sidebar. If you see one appear, click it and you get paid. The cool thing about Qmee is that they will pay you no matter how much you've earned to Paypal, and the money goes instantly into your Paypal account.**New Feature** You can now complete surveys for extra earnings through Qmee!
Ibotta This is a smartphone app (for Apple or Android users) that will actually pay you back a little money for buying certain things in the store. I used this one today and after my earnings credited, I cashed out to Paypal and they paid in less than a minute! Payments are made via Paypal once you have $20 and you request it.
Paid Viewpoint Short surveys, and you are paid for answering each question. Once you reach the $15 payout threshold, they send you your money usually the same day you request it. You never go through with survey qualification without getting some compensation, which is a huge plus.
EarningStation A Get-Paid-To site where you can quickly earn points to redeem for gift cards by filling out surveys, watching videos, signing up for offers, searching the web and more. It has great reviews and users say that it's pretty easy to get the 1,000 point minimum to redeem your earnings. One thousand points is equal to a gift card worth $10!
Springboard America Springboard has an excellent reputation for paying out and offering high paying surveys. You can expect to get anywhere from 50 cents to 5 dollars per survey but if you get in one of their focus groups, you could get as much as $100!
Saving Star Do you have a grocery store rewards card? Do you use it? If so, you should be using Saving Star! Check their website for their featured grocery items and select them. If you have your rewards card registered with their site, you'll automatically get money into your account when you buy those things. They pay you as soon as you have $5 to either your bank, Paypal, or Amazon funds. You can also donate to charity if you want.
Ipsos I-Say Panel There are many ways to earn points to redeem for rewards at Ipsos I-Say. One of the best things about them is if you redeem your points for e-gift cards, like Amazon or Target, you receive the digital code for them instantly!
Inbox Dollars This is a get paid to site that has been around for a long time. Lots of ways to earn money here, including filling out offers, watching videos, opening email, answering surveys, printing coupons, and much more.
Checkout 51 Here is another little gem similar to Ibotta. It works pretty much the same way you get paid back for buying groceries but the beauty of this one is that you DON T have to use it an app if you do not want to (although you can) and also you can get money back from any store you shop at (even online). Minimum cash out is $20 and they'll mail you a check once you get there. This one is getting great feedback so far!
Ebates Get paid cash back for your purchases. Simply go through the Ebates site before you buy anything online (at their participating stores) and get money in your Ebates account. They give a certain percentage based on your total purchase price.
Slice the Pie Get paid to listen to and rate new music. Paypal payments. Great for extra money.
