1. Write Blogs and Advertise
Basically, advertising in your blog works similarly how the television advertisements work. You make content on your blog, generate traffic to it then that's it. Below is a list of advertisements you can add to your blogging sites.
Display Ads Display ads are simply the banners or images you usually see on the header, sidebar, footer, and some in the content area of a page.
Google made a program called Google Adsense where publishers (bloggers, website owners) can place some snippet of codes on their website and start displaying relevant ads to your website.
Say for example, if you have a game review site, Google adsense will start showing game related ads to your site followers. If someone clicks on your ad, you will receive money for the click. This is called Pay-per-click.
Usually it ranges from less than a dollar dollars to couple of dollars per click. So if your site has wide audience, you can make thousands of dollars to hundreds of dollars per month.
Keep in mind regarding their terms-of-service because you might get banned if you break the rules they provide. If you want to apply for adsense, go to Google Adsense. Make sure to read their terms and condition on how you are going to use their service on your website.
Private Ads or Ad Space This one is like what you see on the roads, like billboards on the highway. Business owners rent those space in order to promote their businesses. Similarly with blogging, you may provide ad space for rent on your site and earn money from direct transaction with the business owners.

2. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is another popular way to make money in blogging. To put it simply, you promote someone else's product and get a commission every successful sale. When your blog followers clicks on your affiliate link and buys a product you'll get commissions depending on the total price of the products they buy.

3. Sell your own Products
Another way on how you can create money though blogging which you can add to your income stream is to actually sell your own products on your blog site.
There are different types of products you can sell online, it is up to you which products suites your blog the most. It's either a Digital Product, Physical Product, or Physical Services or Virtual Services:
Digital Products Digital products are those products that can be transferred online. Payments can be made online through paypal, credit or debit cards, or direct bank transfer. To give you idea, here are the popular digital products you can sell online
- Audio/Video Apps/Plugins/Themes/Software Sell Domains Online Courses/ Webinars E-books Premium Content Membership Photos Sell Blogs or Website Etc.
Physical Products Physical products are simply those products that cannot be transferred online. Payments can be made through online and bank transfers or cash-on-delivery. Products such as computers, camera, bikes, toys, and clothes are examples of products people usually buy online. Here's some more:

Physical Services If you're a plumber or a dentist, a painter, physical therapist, or anybody providing services that requires material participation, it's categorized as physical services. Here are more examples of physical services:

Virtual Services Are services that can be made purely online. If you're a web developer, app developer, an SEO, Virtual assistant, Video Editor, Graphic Artist, Copy Writer, and etc. All of these services can be transacted online.
These are the ways how top bloggers earn with their websites. Writing and blogging skills in general take time to establish especially if you are a beginner but I believe in this saying:
