Promote Your Blog
Advertisement income can keep rolling in if you have a Blog with high search engine ranking and good traffic. In order to generate more revenue from advertisement or google adsense, you need to promote your blog.
Here are some ways to promote your blog.
1. Single Topic
All your post should be related to your blog - if your blog is about Stock Market, posts should related to it.
2. Frequency Update or write post regularly
This helps to keep "return" traffic, both readers and search engines. IT WILL ALSO INCREASE YOUR RANKING IN SEARCH ENGINE.
3. Cleverly choosen topic and blog name
Make sure your blog's URL contains the keywords. Topics of your post are important too. Keep it "Focus" (e. g. if your blog's income is mainly from Google Adsense, make sure you "pick" the keywords with good money return / high advertising value)
4.Submit your blog to search engines and directories
Of course you'll submit your blog to major search engines like Google and Yahoo, but don't forget other search engines, directories and/or even promote it in some Discussion Forum. Try to bring in traffic from EVERYWHERE.

5. Keep post simple and meaningful
Keep your posts simple and relevant, always review and read comments from readers. Show them how to do something, provide useful resources. Keep remind yourself "What do they wants" and satisfy their needs.
6. Blog Traffic Exchange
Blog Traffic exchange site like BlogExplosion and Blogexhange are GREAT! Sign up is free, you will earn credits by visiting blogs, and use those credits to let your blog show up on their network to "earn" visiters.
7. Promoting Technically
If you are a "WebMaster" (which I am not), there are few more ways to promote your Blog. Such as:
LinkExchange with relevant blogs
Use Meta Tag to generate traffic
Nice looking blogs (better coding skills)
etc..
