Stop searching for “work from home jobs” or “working from home opportunities”, anything that labels you as looking for jobs that you can do at your own home. Scammers use these terms all the time to get people to check out their website and think that they are legitimate. Even trying to add the word “legitimate” or “genuine” at the start of your search will bring up questionable results. Think like the scammer – what would you include to get people to pay you money? Now avoid them.
Instead, start searching for the terms that fewer scammers use. This include "virtual jobs" and "telecommuting".
