Starting A Blog and Affiliate Marketing combined is actually my #1 recommendation for making money from home. This is personally how I make most of my online income and is a pretty easy way to earn a living.
Basically you start a targeted blog around one of your hobbies, or what's called a niche. You then build a website, create content like product reviews, drive traffic to your website, and start making sales.
There are also tons of other ways to make money with a blog. One way is with Google Adsense or PPC ads. You can probably see one on the sidebar of my site, if you click it I earn money. You can also sell private ad space. I've stopped doing this because in the Make Money Online Niche most of the ads people want to run are scams.
You can also make money with pay per lead programs. A few sites that I promote are based on pay per lead, this means that if they click on my link to a site I get paid. They don't have to purchase anything like with affiliate marketing.
