This past weekend, Angie from The Work at Home Wife, held this really informative event called the Work at Home Weekend. During this community event, she unleashed and showcased some of the best work at home blogs on the web.
While I was honored to be part of this event, I was more thrilled to learn about a bunch of new resources that I had not known about before. In fact, I spent a good two hours on Saturday morning just visiting and reading what these women had to offer.
As you well know, I’m always on the lookout for new ways to make money from home and in finding all of these new blogs, I was able to learn about some new work at home money makers. With these new opportunities, you’re not going to get rich, but you can add some extra cash to your wallet.
Swagbucks is an online platform where you can earn points called SB, which can be redeemed for gift cards and coupons. You can easily earn SB points by watching videos, playing games, answering questions, shopping online, and even surfing the web using their search bar. Refer your friends and you’ll earn even more SB points. Your SB points can be traded in for gift cards from Amazon, Target, Starbucks, PayPal and Walmart.
Is an online platform that allows you to make money from taking surveys, watching videos, shopping, completing short tasks, and much more. Sign up and immediately earn $5 just for joining. Most offers pay between.25 to $30 per offer, and payments are made via PayPal, check, or direct deposit once your account reaches a $25 threshold. Some offers do require a credit card number, so if you don’t feel comfortable giving out that information, just stick to the offers which display the No CC icon. Fusion Cash is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
New over at Amazon, you can make money online working on HITS (Human Intelligence Tasks). A few of the tasks that I saw listed were, transcribing information from a business card to a form, payout $0.02 cents. Another task was to transcribe a voice-mail from audio to text (audio length 3 hours), payout $76.19. After you complete the task and the requester approves your work, the money is deposited into your Amazon account.
Do you have a way with words? Then this opportunity with BoostMedia may be right up your alley. You basically write PPC (pay-per-click) Ads for companies if your ad gets accepted, or wins a contest you get paid. On their home-page, BoostMedia boasts one “Booster” who is making $1,200 a month writing ads; keep in mind that this is probably their top earner who has excellent copywriting skills and this probably not the norm.
