Step 1
Obtain cash deposit slips from your bank. If the bank does not have these slips made up for your account, you can use blank cash slips. Write your name, address, city and state on the top portion of the deposit slip. Where it says, "Account Number," enter your bank or savings account number. Write the date on the slip.
Step 2
Fill out a regular deposit slip with the day's date and enter any checks that you may have on the back of the deposit slip. Total the check amount and enter on the line that says "Check Total." Set aside until the cash is counted.
Step 3
Fill in the cash counting deposit slip. You should count the $20s and enter the total on the line that says "$20." Do the same for each pile of bills you have. Count and enter coins as well.
