I want to share with you some methods you can use to acquire free products to sell on Amazon or eBay for free (or anywhere else online).
You might be blown away by how simple it is to find these products. Maybe you've already found out how to get free products to sell, but in case you haven't I know this will help you out!
The Best Place to Find Free Products to Sell
Craigslist.org - This is one of the easiest places to find products to sell on Amazon and eBay. This can be time-consuming, but if you can make the time it's definitely worth it. One of the best places I found some these products to sell is in the "FREE" section under the "For Sale" category. I've found the following three categories sell very well on Amazon and eBay.
Books
Electronics
Clothes
Now both the books and electronics are great free products to sell, because they don't weigh much (for shipping) and they are easy to locate on Amazon and eBay with a UPC or ISBN number.
Clothes normally weigh more, but you can put them in SETS or LOTS and advertise them that way, then just include the shipping price in with the item. Most people expect shipping to cost a little more on clothes than other items. So even clothes can be good free products to sell, even though they have a good amount of shipping weight.
Not too long ago, I found a lady that was giving away CASES of books for free, because she had a relative that just passed away and they were clearing everything out of the house. (Talk about some free products to sell, that was a Mother Lode!)

So, as you can see, there are several opportunities to secure some free products to sell on Amazon and eBay. As the old saying goes, "One man's junk is another man's treasure".
The people wanting to get rid of their stuff might think it's worthless, or they just don't want to mess with taking it somewhere to donate it. Whatever the case, people are out there giving stuff away everyday.
You Won't Be the Only Person Looking for Products to Sell
One more thing to point out... People stay on the free category of Craigslist like a hawk. So there's some competition on getting to the free stuff before other people do. I'd recommend devoting a certain period of time everyday (when you are looking for new inventory) to just camping out on Craigslist and refreshing the free category. If you see an item pop up and you want those free products to sell, contact the people ASAP and tell them you will come get it.
Hint: You can also type in the item you are looking for in the "Search" box in Craigslist.
If you respond to some people who post and they don't contact you back, don't get discouraged and don't take it personal. They probably already got rid of the items and they don't want to take the time to respond to 100 people on the stuff they don't have anymore.
